Farfalle beads are named because of their bow shape- 'farfalle' means 'bow' in Italian. They are like two little rounds stuck together, dimpled in by a single hole in the middle. When strung they nestle together at right angles to create a unique texture. These particular farfalle have a single cut facet on each bead, adding a pretty little sparkle to your design.
